You choose the occasion and who the card is for, write your message with as much or as little help as you want, add a photo, signature and optional voice note, then share it by email, private link or as a printable file.

Select Create a Card, pick Personal for one person, Multi-Send for a list of people, Group Card to collect messages from many people, or Teams for an organisation. Each one walks you through a few short steps and saves as you go.

On the voice step you can record straight into your browser or upload an audio file. The recipient sees a small play button on the card. You can listen back and re-record before sending.

If your card has a voice note and you download the printable version, a QR code is added on its own page labelled Hear my message. Scanning it opens the private card page where the voice note can be played.

On the share step choose Download and print. You get a print-ready PDF sized for home or print-shop printing. Heartnote does not post physical cards yet.

On the share step pick Schedule for later and choose a date and time. The card is saved to your account as Scheduled, and you can change or cancel it from My Heartnotes.

You set up the card and a contribution deadline, then share the invitation link. Contributors do not need an account: they open the link, add their message and optional photo, signature or voice note, and can edit it until the deadline. You review and order the contributions before the card is sent.

You build one base card, add recipients by hand or by uploading a spreadsheet file, then let each message fill in that person's details. You can edit any individual message before sending, and retry anyone whose email did not go through.

A Heartnote is one premium card creation or send. Multi-Send uses one Heartnote per recipient, so sending to eight people uses eight Heartnotes. Free cards do not use any.

Open Account Settings and look under Plan and billing. You can see how many Heartnotes you have left, change your plan, or cancel. Card payments are not connected yet, so nothing is charged today.
